Jonathan Holdgate
CAPTAIN
Jonathan Holdgate, captain of the Lisa Lynn, is a Nantucket native and lifelong waterman. A graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a degree in Marine Transportation, he holds both a 3rd Mate Unlimited license and a 100-Ton Captain’s license. When he’s not at the helm, Jonathan works as an electrician on Nantucket and spends the fall through spring scalloping in the island’s bays. Raised on the water, he knows these local seas like the back of his hand.
Alec Frizzell
FIRST MATE
Alec Frizzell, first mate of the Lisa Lynn, is a graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a degree in Marine Transportation. He holds a Chief Mate Unlimited license and is a licensed captain with years of fishing experience. When he’s not sharing his expertise aboard the Lisa Lynn, Alec is at sea crewing commercial vessels. A Plymouth native with a lifelong passion for fishing, he brings that enthusiasm and deep knowledge to every trip.
